sPower is one of the largest utility scale renewable developers and asset owners in the US. The company operates over 2 GW of solar, wind and storage projects and has 10+GW in development. It is currently owned by a joint venture between AES and AIMCO.
NextEdge was formed to work with wireless carriers to deploy and own small cell infrastructure, and outdoor and in-building wireless networks. It is also the owner of Modus and is now a portfolio company of Bow River Capital.
Modus is the US leader in the design, permuting, and construction of small cell networks. It was the first company to construct a 5G network in the US. Modus was purchased by NextEdge Networks and it is currently a portfolio company of Bow River Capital.
Diamond State owns and operates Bloom Energy Servers, which utilize natural gas to create power through a chemical reaction, rather than combustion, sifnigifantly reducing emissions. It currently sells power to Delmarva Power and Light under a long term PPA. The company is operated through a joint venture between Southern Power and Assured Guaranty.
Distributed Solar Development was originally GE's commercial and industrial scale solar division, within the GE Current Organization. It was spun out into an independent company under GE Ventures, and eventually sold to BlackRock.
Communication Infrastructure Group was a leading developer, owner and operator of wireless towers, primarily concentrated in the Eastern US. The business aggregated approximately 250 towers prior to its sale to Vertical Bridge.
System One is the leading staffing service provider to the US Nuclear industry as well as a staffing provider to other renewable energy services surrounding Smart Meters and Wind Power. The business is now a portfolio company of TH Lee Partners.
Golden State Towers was formed to develop, build, own, and operate wireless towers in hard to zone areas in California, Washington and Oregon. The business assembled approximately 225 towers prior to its sale to Global Signal.
FLS Energy was originally the largest solar hot water builder, owner, operator in the US. When that industry experienced headwinds, it pivoted to become the 3rd largest utility-scale solar developer. Part of its portfolio was sold to sPower, with the remaining portfolio, pipeline, and platform sold to Cypress Creek
